ClimaCell and WaveKraft liners were not designed to be compostable and should not go in home or industrial composting.
ClimaCell and WaveKraft panels are made with renewable paper and vegetable starch, plus a thin moisture-resistant barrier coating and a few non-toxic ingredients. Independent testing at Western Michigan University, along with research from AF+PA and conversations with paper industry partners, confirms that this coating does not interfere with recycling.
We use virgin and recycled paper from Forest Stewardship Council-certified mills in North America.

ClimaCell and WaveKraft liners are non-toxic, but they're not food and aren't intended to be eaten.
They aren't designed for reuse as insulation after shipping. Instead, place the panels in your recycling bin so the paper fibers can be made into new paper.
